Catuaba

Catuaba, or also in Latin Erythroxylum catuaba, is an inconspicuous deciduous tree originally growing in South America. It grows to an average height of around 5 meters. It has medium-sized leaves and a powerful, rope-like trunk. It needs sufficient moisture and heat. After that, it is capable of problem-free growth.

COMPOSITION OF CATUABA

Catuaba contains many alkaloids, tannins, as well as resins, flavonoids and similar substances. The most important of them was discovered by a Brazilian researcher in 1959. It is a substance with effects similar to Yohimbine.
