Cordyceps
Cordyceps sinensis is a truly unusual mushroom. It comes from the peaks of the distant Himalayas and has a truly interesting life cycle, thanks to which it abounds in an exceptional composition. What makes this somewhat unusual mushroom unique? Join us on a journey into the ancient past to learn more about this miracle of Chinese medicine.
A MUSHROOM THAT COMBINES THE BEST OF THE PLANT AND ANIMAL KINGDOMS
By far the most interesting thing about this mushroom is its life cycle. It parasitizes on selected types of caterpillars and insect larvae, which is also evident from its appearance. It resembles a caterpillar more than a mushroom.
In the summer, it shoots spores that enter the host's body and draw nutrients from it, gradually replacing the tissue with its own mycelium. In winter, the infected caterpillar burrows underground, and in spring a new fruiting body grows from its body. It is a combination of insects and plants at the same time, which is reflected in its exceptional composition.
ACTIVE POLYSACCHARIDES, BETA GLUCANAS AND A RANGE OF VITAMINS
There are over 300 species of these mushrooms in the world, which differ mainly in the content of active polysaccharides. Depending on the species, Cordyceps contains approximately 25% protein, 8% fat, 29% carbohydrates and 18% fiber. In addition, it is also a rich source of beta glucans, sterols, vitamins (especially vitamin B12), minerals, trace elements, etc. You can easily and conveniently enjoy all the benefits of its composition through our capsules. The polysaccharide content in one capsule is at least 265 mg.
USING CORDYCEPS? EVERYTHING IMPORTANT IN JUST 2 CAPSULES A DAY
For maximum effectiveness, take 2 capsules of Cordyceps extract a day. It is ideal to enjoy your daily dose in the morning with breakfast. If you have problems swallowing capsules, you can also mix their contents in water or liquid food.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
If you follow the optimal dosage of Cordyceps extract in capsules, there should be no risk of side effects. However, Cordyceps capsules are not suitable for pregnant and lactating women, men with a predisposition to androgen-dependent prostate tumors, and anyone suffering from autoimmune diseases. It is also contraindicated when taking immunosuppressants, drugs that regulate blood sugar, cholesterol and blood clotting.
