Fadogia agrestis

Under this name you will find an evergreen shrub that grows up to one meter in height and its long slender leaves are complemented by small yellow flowers. It thrives in the harsh conditions of the African savannahs, but is most commonly found in Nigeria, where it is very popular with local men. And what makes this shrub interesting? It contains a number of interesting substances, of which it is worth mentioning in particular alkaloids, saponins and flavonoids. Although Fadogia agrestis does not grow in our country, it is possible to buy a strong extract made from the stems and roots of the plant at home.

USAGE AND DOSAGE

Take 1 capsule of the extract daily. You will achieve the best effect if you drink the capsule with a sufficient amount of water 30 minutes before a meal. It is better than long-term use to take the extract for, for example, two weeks at a time and then take a week off. Never exceed the recommended daily dose.

SIDE EFFECTS

Not much is known about the side effects of the herb. If you have any medical condition, discuss use with your doctor first. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The extract is also not suitable for children and for people with cardiovascular problems or thyroid disease.
